In 2008 I found myself breaking into a new career in an industry I’d never heard of before – luxury charter yacht vacations. I was a professional chef for high-end clientele, and we wined-and-dined the heck out of them in throughout the Caribbean.

The blues of the ocean and the tropical breezes never got old, but damn if the rest of it wasn’t exhausting.

So here I am – finding myself in a new place all over again. I traded in my flip flops for rubber boots; bikinis for coveralls; ocean blues for rolling green pastures.

I traded my life on boats for goats.
